My experience in BioHealth College was very scary at first when I heard about what we were going to learn and what our position was going to be. The reason I was scared was that I hadn't been in school for about six years, prior to three semesters of general education at Evergreen College , which I didn't grade well to say the least. That was one of the biggest factors to me was the thought of going back to school again and not doing well in my classes here at BioHealth College .

After a couple of weeks I changed my way of thinking and my attitude, I told myself "yes I can". I can do this, I can learn this and I can be successful. After that I was off and running going headstrong into my new career. With the encouragement of Sam (CEO/President), he assured me that this is the new field of science that employers are going to be demanding for. And with that I started hitting the books and learned as much as I can in the modules I was taking. Making sure I understood the concept of what the teacher was trying to make us understand.

My experience with the teachers here in BioHealth College was exceptional, Dr Carol my lead teacher was very helpful in that if I didn't understand a concept she would take the time to go over what I didn't understand. That helped me a lot in different ways knowing that the teacher was willing to do that for me made me feel good and gave me more self-esteem. With Mr. Mir VP of education if I had any trouble he was there to lend a helping hand. Even before my last module in the course a fellow student and I went to a job fair in search of a new job. With the help of the Placement Director, Ms Cheryl was teaching me about job interviewing and resume techniques I would now be prepared to go out and get a job without being to nerves. Within a month of the job fair I had two job interviews.

Luckily the first company called me back with an offer. I am employed now with this company. All in all I had a great time here in BioHealth College ; the staff here is kind and considerate. The management has good intentions toward the student to see them succeed in their new career. I would recommend this school to anybody that is interested in finding a new career in this biotechnology field.
